Matt Strides Into The Spotlight!

You know I loved David Meerman Scott’s World Wide Rave, but I never did get around to checking out the whole Matt dancing gum thing he wrote about until one of the winners of the book, Corinne Lor, reminded me to check it out.

How cool is this? Not sure it makes we want to break out a stick of chewing gum, but it did make me check out Stride’s website which is also an 11 on the cool meter. The only thing is that when I first saw the video of Matt dancing around the world I thought he was doing it in Stride Rite shoes, (I’ve been buying kiddie shoes times 4 for many moons…) or Stride Shoes (are they the same company?) and I’m thinkin’ why is he getting the shoes all wet??? (many rain/beach/underwater scenes) and then Daughter #3 (they’re all #1 to me) says, “No mom, it’s gum!” and then I’m thinking about Stride Gum getting stuck on Stride Shoes or Stride Rite Shoes…stop the madness! Anyway, gotta love an innovative promotion.
