Karma Marketing

He calls himself The Smartest Man in the World and he may very well be right. He’s definitely one of the nicest and that’s kinda the point. It’s his whole marketing strategy.
I’m sure Customer Experience Guru Becky Carroll over at Customers Rock would agree.
Saul Colt, “Head of Magic” at Fresh Books, calls it Karma Marketing. Doing nice things for people. When they least expect it. Especially customer people. Stuff like sending them individually sized boxes of Frosted Flakes with Starbucks Gift Cards stuffed into the box. I saw him speak tonight and I gotta say he’s a breath of Fresh Air in a noisy overcrowded “look at me” marketplace.
The guy walks his talk (I’m sure he attracts random acts of hugging…) and it sounds like the whole company’s walking it with him. Check out Colt (right) and Fresh Books founder telling the Triscuit story below.
