A Commercial About Nothing?

Not sure what the point is, but perhaps that’s the point. I mean it stars a guy who had a good long run with a show about nothing so why shouldn’t he collaborate on a commercial about nothing. Except that maybe it’s not about nothing. Maybe, it’s about making us think Microsoft is as cool as MAC. Ad Age suggests its about replacing the “drippy image” of Microsoft created by the MAC vs. PC spots. My favorite part is when Bill Gates proudly flashes his Shoe Circus Clown Club Platinum Membership Card with a picture of himself as a teenage pre-millionaire geek. Love to hear what Seinfeld expert, Bill Gammel, thinks about the execution. Will Seinfeld make PC cool? Did Gates out-cool Seinfeld?
